Interview with Victoria Mavrova

The expert who not only takes advertising in our company to a higher level, but who will successfully manage any marketing project for our clients. She is a sun that shines with a smile in the office as she ambitiously sets higher and higher goals in the field of digital marketing and, step by step, like a typical Capricorn, achieves them. This is Victoria Mavrova – Digital Marketing and Advertising Manager at TouchPoint.

Introduce yourself in a few words.

Hello! My name is Victoria Mavrova and I am 24 years old from Burgas. I graduated from the English high school in my hometown, and then a bachelor’s degree in graphic design at NBU Sofia. I decided to continue my education and enrolled in the Master’s Digital Marketing & Social Media at the University of Sheffield. Creative design and visual communication have always attracted me and I’m happy that my hobby has gradually turned into a job!
 
5 years ago, when I moved to live in Sofia, I created my personal online space where I started sharing travel guides, city places that inspire me, tips and trends, seen through my eyes – this is my blog InspoCorner. Over time, I started quite actively maintaining it, writing articles and sharing them on social networks. This is how my interest in Digital Marketing and how to develop a brand in the online space was born. For 4 years now, I have been skillfully trying to balance between marketing strategies and creating creative content.

What not! I attended piano lessons, sports dance, swimming, but my favorite was drawing. Perhaps this was the reason why I rushed to the graphic design and art field.

In your opinion, what is the future of social media and how will digital marketing develop in Bulgaria?

Until a few years ago, digital marketing was a new and unknown approach, but today it is an indispensable part from the advertising strategy of almost any brand. Many companies in Bulgaria have already transformed their business models and are taking serious steps in the online space – growth in online sales, stronger brand awareness and “more personal” contact with consumers. In my opinion, this trend will develop, but for successful results it takes time, persistence, creativity and consistency.

What is the biggest challenge in your work right now at Touchpoint?

I am extremely grateful to have come across the great team at Touchpoint! Apart from creativity, I am currently facing interesting challenges every day yours. I am developing professional skills related to Google ads, budgeting and analysis – an important part of digital marketing.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I love to travel and every time I have a chance I plan such an “escape” with my loved ones! I rediscover new places and create wonderful moments that I capture with my camera! And when I’m in my native Burgas, I spend time with my family and enjoy walks by the sea with my dog Romeo, a basset hound!
