Интервю с Мартин Георгиев

Meeting with our experts: Martin Georgiev

At TouchPoint, we believe that success is the result of the people behind the projects – their knowledge, experience and drive to innovate. Today we would like to introduce Martin Georgiev – Software Architect in our office in Varna.

Martin is a true professional with years of experience in mobile application development, API integrations and creating scalable web architectures. He and his team in Varna are currently working on a brand new web product that will be launched soon.

In the interview that follows, you’ll learn more about his path to TouchPoint, the values he finds in his work, and what inspires him to create projects that leave a mark.

Happy reading!

How did you choose to work at TouchPoint?

I’ve always had a desire to grow in the software business and discover new challenges. My years as a software developer and the experience I gained in different projects gave me the confidence and the wings to take the next step forward.

At TouchPoint, I found exactly that – the new challenge and development opportunity I’ve always been looking for. The way we work, the technologies we implement, the freedom to choose the best approach for me, and the opportunity to be heard are just some of the reasons that led me to take this step.

I believe the next step forward will be mutual – for both TouchPoint and myself.

What is the most valuable thing that working at TouchPoint teaches you?

I would definitely say the most important quality is patience. We have to learn to be more patient – with clients, with colleagues, with projects, even with the technology we work with. This quality not only helps us to cope more effectively, but also builds trust and resilience in any situation.

What’s the most unexpected thing a client has said to you during a project or meeting?

“God, if I were a client… I wouldn’t be able to stand myself.”

What would you add to mobile apps today if there were no technical limitations?

Oh sure – the direct connection to the human brain. It seems Mr Musk is already seriously considering this idea.

What is your distinctive signature that we can find in every project you do?

My distinctive signature is expressed in my attention to detail and individual approach to each project. Whether it’s software design, code structure or user experience, I strive to provide a balance between functionality and efficiency.

What is your favorite book and who would you recommend it to?

If I had to pick one title, it would be ‘Creative Team’ by Ken Kosienda. The book reveals inspiring stories about the creative team behind iconic products we use today – like the iPhone and iPad. I think this book would inspire any young person to give a little more of themselves every day.. for the good of the team.
